A way to name the moment
Feeling pictures give children something to point to when words are difficult. Happy, sad, angry and worried feelings all belong.

Start with how your child feels, and make space for the support they choose.
Feeling pictures give children something to point to when words are difficult. Happy, sad, angry and worried feelings all belong.
A book, a drawing, a walk or a wanted hug may feel helpful. Offer a few choices and let your child take part in deciding what comes next.
Use the pictures alongside your presence, listening and reassurance. There is no required happy ending and no feeling to get right.
Your Emotions Pack supplies the pictures. The Flipzy Base gives each finished step a satisfying flip.
Pick the pictures together. Put one activity sticker on each wooden flip tile.
Arrange the tiles on your wall-mounted Base. Choose a dry indoor wall children can see and reach with adult support.
Practise the step together, then reveal the checkmark. Reset the tiles when you are ready to start again.

Three ways to begin
Think of these as optional paths you can choose together. You can stop at naming a feeling, skip a step or try something else.

Name it, choose support
Stay nearby and follow your child’s lead. A hug is always optional, and the feeling does not need to change for the moment to count.

Comfort without pressure
Make this a chosen pause with connection available. It is a place for comfort, never a punishment or a demand to be calm.

Draw, talk, listen
The drawing can show any feeling. The adult listens too, and your child can share as much or as little as they want.
Start with two or three manageable steps. You do not need to fill every tile. Choose suitable tasks and keep helping where children need you.
Magic Stickers. Easy to swap.
Use the pictures as invitations. All feelings are valid, hugs are optional, and comfort is never something to earn. A check can recognise trying a chosen support step, not becoming happy or hiding a feeling.
Lift a sticker gently from an edge, move it to another tile or swap it for a new step. Keep unused stickers on their backing and handle the adhesive as little as possible.

Explore them together at an ordinary, unhurried moment. You might name the expressions, talk about a story or point to how you feel yourself. Keep it playful and optional, so the pictures can become familiar without pressure to explain a difficult moment.
Start with one or two familiar options, such as a book or drawing together. Your child can choose, decline or suggest something else. Listening and staying available matter more than completing a particular sequence.
No. Feelings are not tasks to finish. Use the feeling pictures to express the moment. If you use a check, it can acknowledge trying a chosen support step or sharing a need. Being happy, accepting a hug or stopping tears should never be a condition for a reward or comfort.
That is okay. Offer your presence and a small choice without pressure. Your child might prefer drawing, a book, a walk or simply having you nearby. The pictures support everyday connection; they do not replace professional advice or care when it is needed.
Yes. The routine uses pictures. Explain each picture, show the task and practise together. Choose familiar pictures that children recognise.
Yes. Lift a Magic Sticker gently from an edge to move or swap it. Keep the backing for stickers you are not using and avoid touching the adhesive more than necessary.
No. Each Base has seven flip tiles. Choose a few steps for the routine you are practising. Another Base lets you keep a different routine ready, and another pack gives you duplicates if both boards need the same picture.
